SCC Certification
SCC stands for SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) Checklist Contractors. The SCC certificate is intended for companies that perform risky activities. For example, construction companies. Depending on the company and the situation, there are three certification levels:
- SCC* (SCC 1 star): this certification level is mainly intended for smaller companies that usually work as subcontractors.
- SCC** (SCC 2 stars): this certification level is mainly intended for larger companies that usually work as main contractor.
- SCC-P (SCC Petrochemical): this certification level is especially intended for companies working in the petrochemical sector.
With the help of the SCC certificate, you demonstrate that SHE is an integral part of your business operations, which is being worked on continuously.
Project design
The SCC standard is a checklist. It consists of 11 chapters which, depending on the level (SCC* / SCC** / SCC-P), describe what the requirements are. By means of a scan, we determine, among other things, for which certificate your company is eligible, what is already present in your company and where points lie that can be adjusted or improved. Based on this, we work with you to prepare a step-by-step plan to prepare your company for certification.
Topics such as conducting an RI&E, testing equipment and resources and training staff are some examples of the requirements. ARBO Rotterdam can also help meet the requirements described.
ARBO Rotterdam can support you in setting up, implementing and maintaining your SCC system. There is extensive experience with all certification levels of the SCC.
